Attention: Finance Prayers
Hello and thank you for praying with me. I would like prayer for new employment. I recently provided my boss and organization with a resignation letter. I have been employed with the organization for almost three years and finally I've had a enough of people spreading falsehoods about me and people just being mean and nasty towards me. Some claim I am too nice. (they feel they need to toughen me up) I don't believe there is a such thing as too nice. Some people just expect meaness and nastiness from people, because they feel comfortable being hurtful towards others. I know that in life we come up against various people with characteristics and personalities different and sometimes in contrast to my own. But, I ask not only will I get a new job very soon, I also and always want to be in the right place where I can work productively, fairly, and happily with my co-workers and students (I am now certified to teach and I would like my 1st teaching job.) I no longer want to take a job that I know is not right for me. No matter how much it pays. I also want to work with new people who are professional and we each have the schools bottom line in mind:making sure the students achieve and working together effectively.
I am not naive enough to say, that we all are going to get along fine all the time-but I will never participate in lying on folks, back bitting, and nastiness towards others. Few people in the work place can be bullies and mean spirited. And sometimes I wonder how they even make it not only in the work- place but in general. Bad behavior has never gotten me anywhere. Anyhow, I pray for each and everyone of them. While I am patiently waiting on God to continue to divinly order my steps, I also ask that I get a job at a school where, not only are my skills utilized, my weaknesses are developed. When I am offered positions, I pray that I am not confused or unsure about what offer to accept. I will know which one is best for me and what I want.
Thank you and amen.
